People have been advised to stay at home these days to prevent the spread of new COVID-19. Prolonged isolation is a significant challenge to maintaining good mental health. physical and psychological health are main parts of a healthy life. Public mental health is one of the main things to consider, during this coronavirus pandemic. The main psychological impacts are stress and anxiety. It can be happen due to loneliness ,depression, quarantine and its effects on many people’s usual activities. Especially in healthcare workers, older adults and people with various health conditions.
Coping stress is very important to be a healthy person. Some effective strategies to cope with stress are described in below.
Always talking to your family and friends. It helps to avoid feeling sad, stressed, angry, confused, or scared.
Always maintain a healthy life style with a balance diet, adequate sleep, proper exercises, social contact with your loved ones.
Use your talents (drawing, photographing, crafting, cooking, dancing, singing) to manage time effectively. They help you to manage emotions well in this challengeable situation.
If you need any advices, contact a counselor or a health care worker; avoid using alcohol or any other drugs to manage your emotions.
Don’t spend more time on watching or listening to media coverage that you perceived as upsetting. Instead of that, watch movies with your family, do fun games.
